The credo of the programme series, every Saturday at 17:00 on Bayerische Rundfunk [Bavarian Radio], is to present masterpieces of classical music from A to Z.
On the 16th of July: “Souvenir de Florence” (op 70) by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, interpreted by the do.gma Chamber Orchestra, Mikhail Gurewitsch, founder and conductor of the orchestra, answers questions in discussion with the BR-Klassik producer Julia Smilga and gives an insight into the musical concept behind the recordings produced last year by BERTHOLD Records.
