The Doppler Trio is a Dutch/German collaboration with a refreshing view on the current improvised scene. Although their setup is that of a traditional jazz-combo, everything else is different. They play atmospheric, narrative music with a modern jazz sound, created by using synths, effects and vocals in combination with folk influences and Eastern rhythms. They released their first album Nebula (March 2019) together with Fattoria Records and had a successful debut tour in Germany and the Netherlands.
Their new album Archean is being released by BERTHOLD records on March 26th.
